Chickadee - 12" sq.

The design is based on a poem entitled, I Hear a Bird Singing. The background is hand dyed with the branches and berries painted using acrylic fabric.  The chickadee was appliqued from commercial fabric then thread sketched.  It was machine quilted and mounted on a 12" square canvas.
