"Tribute to Tudhope Trees" -Original Acrylic Painting 24x30"

This magnificent tree is one of many that we lost during the Major Ice Storm in the Spring - March of 2025. The "historic" storm caused widespread power outages that lasted for days, extensive tree damage, and prompted the city to declare a state of emergency.  The tree in this painting was and iconic one near the Orillia Rowing Club dock at Tudhope Park. I had taken a reference photo a year earlier. I was filled with gratitude, and humbled by the impact of nature,  that at least I could create a more permanent memory of this tree and beautiful area.
